Btw if anyones having trouble understanding EV training just think of it in LoL terms

If you want to build your poke tanky go farm Catarpies for HP and Metapod/Kakuna for Def. ( Armor)
If you wanna add some magic resist (Special Def.) go farm Tentacools
If you want a glass cannon AP carry (Special Attk.) poke so you can rape shit with your flamethrower/icebeam go farm Special Atk. by killing Ghastly in the ghost tower
If you want an AD heavy (Attack) poke so your attack based skills hit hard go kill a fk ton of Paris' in mount moon
And finally go farm Speed by murdering Diglets so you can attack first.

i hope they make it so that you can reset a pokemon's EV's once or something in the future

umbreon is str8 tanky. but without using tm's its hard to make him OP

He makes a decent wall (tank).
But honestly if you want to go tanky on him you would have to focus all your EV points into HP/SpDef to make it worth it.

also ev is only trained from wild pokemon and not vs trainers and gym leaders?

also umbreon learns faint attack which is a powerful attack that never misses

too bad she doesnt learn crunch, the best dark type attack

Alot of people build Umbreon like this:
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Sp Def
~ Wish
~ Payback
~ Heal Bell
~ Protect / Toxic

But you can do whatever ya want wit your pokes.

Also yes you get EV points from killing trainers pokemon so be careful if you are trying to preserve your precious virgin EV stats for later farming
