In that case you should say you are "diamond akali", not a diamond player.

He doesnt control more than 3-4 champs on a good level and he brags about being diamond, evading any excuse about losing with other champs etc

naw, hes a diamond player.
just because hes only playing one champ, doesnt mean hes not playing against other diamond players, which is he.

hes playing at that skill level, just on a champ hes comfortable with.
