zyra is very similar to my fav heimerdinger going to be using her aswell now.
But i feed at that elo veigar/karthus/fizz and malzahar all can do potently better
Don't rush athenes AND roa.
Rush roa on somebody who has a consistent mana drain (karthus, anivia) or who has low cooldown high mana cost spells (orianna).
Rush chalice on somebody who scales off of mr (galio) or when you want to be able to trade harass and come out ahead (....lots of mid laners, first one that comes to mind is zilean)
Sometimes anivia can go chalice.
Personally, I prefer to go double dorans into either abyssal or rabadons on zyra, depending how the lane is going. If I'm harassing a LOT, maybe I would go chalice into rabadons, but almost never rush a full athenes.
