its trash nobody who actually plays sc2 at decent level thinks blizzards ladder is good, it just hides ur real position in ranking and u never know whos better and whos worse

too vague of a description by riot for it to make sense to me.

seems too complex and they didnt explain as well as they should have before dropping the news.

basically you have 3 different ways of people judging you, league points < Division < Tier

wierd as shit.

cant tell if theyre trying to make it harder to be stuck in "elo hell" by making the ranking system more complex (like not just putting you with people +/- 50 elo of you) or easier to climb...

^no its not the same because u wont be able to compare ur elo to other people who arent in the same division, everyone whos happy with that changes doesnt understand it
its basically the same as sc2 ladder which sucks dick, people had to creat sites lik sc2ranks.com just so they can see their position in ranking to compare it with others

What happens if I lose a ranked match in the league system?
Losing a ranked game in the league system will cost some of your League Points. If you’re already at the bottom of your division, this may mean falling back to the previous division . Once you’ve earned a skill tier, however, you can never be demoted to the previous tier unless you stop playing for a prolonged period of time.

except I don't think you can drop out of a division once you reach it, but I'm not sure. That wouldn't make sense. But it's possible.
