you realize that void is going to give more damage then a deathcap even with base MR+runes, right?

The reasoning on getting deathcap opposed to void is because you have AP scalings that dont directly effect damage(shields etc like diana/annie, heals, etc). As far as raw damage goes voidstaff with s3 changes will always do more damage then a deathcap.

Who is Fate? And I see pro players rushing Raba before Void Staff on nearly every AP champ in SoloQ, I guess that's for a reason.
