critique my malphite build plz

Get rid of that attack speed quint, you don't need it for the ap malphite autos. (100% ratio on his ult!)
Replace it with a flat +5 ap

I recommend going magic resist per level glyphs since Malphite already gets scaling magic resist, since he's melee, and not maokai, poppy, yasuo, shen or singed. (melee champs that dont receive natural MR scaling as they level)

That being said, I recommend getting morellos instead of athenes.
Morellos is more cost efficient and gives more ap, as well as the small mana regen malphite NEEDS. (the mana regen still doesnt compare to athenes, but just buy mana pots)

Since you're silver I slightly recommend running 9 in the offensive tree, at least. For AP carrying purposes.
Your mid is going to fail one of these games, you're gonna need to be strong.

-But then again Malphites passive scales nicely with the 9 defense tree, he needs to be tanky just incase of a hard bot lane supp (leona, nami, ..voli :p)


Ignite wins bot lanes. It really does. But exhaust is so good on malphite because you can constantly have them slowed (Q, frostqueen item, exhaust, red buff you got because you nuked enemy squishy cuz u went ap)
