I doubt normal mmr have any interactions with ranked mmr - otherwise it's something i've never heard of atleast

i think when it's the first time you go in ranked they match something with ur normal mmr but i can be wrong tho

I'm almost certain that it's been confirmed that normal MMR does affect your ranked MMR

For instance, even if you go 10-0 in placements you'll be placed like low gold, and be skipping and playing with mid to high golds
If you have high normal MMR and go 10-0 also, you'll still be placed low gold but be playing with low plats to mid plats

Maybe what AlkorD2R said is partly true? My friend was playing with mid golds to mid plats from game 1 of his placements on an account he has "diamond" mmr with in normals

Yeah, maybe - not sure ^^ but still wouldn't make much sense, take 1 normal and play superbad, and get easy climb in ranked afterwards

But you're 62% winrate, if you had a long winstreak it definitely boosts your mmr a lot then, so not impossible - wp

I see, can't barely argument on it, since i don't have any knowledge about it, just thought out of standard logic, that it wasn't like that
