If you currently say anything remotely unsupportive about BLM you are often shunned or censored in many communties and social media sites. For example reddit, twitter and many others.

Obviously Riot is just jumping on this train because it's currently "trendy" and gives them good PR. They avoided the Hong Kong demonstrations and scandals like the plague because they are 100% owned by Tencent, a chinese company. (Tencent literally owns 100% of Riot games, not an expression)
But they can freely virtue signale about BLM to get some Good Boy Points with the community.
