i think that's an issue with TFT ranked gameplay. tons of people just hard-spam a comp based on strength of current meta - doesn't really show game knowledge or understanding, but allows you to climb quickly in a short period of time. these type of players tend to have a very high volume of games with a very low win % or <51% top 4 rate.

10.8 was a lot better balanced in that multiple comps were more closely matched in power/econ tradeoff, and there were multiple paths to victory. too many shredder and chrono kayle spammers in this patch (and candyland shortly before 10.10). very difficult to punish since you get so much power early, so people just donkeyroll (esp. shredder).

kinda compromises the potential for a meaningful esports scene in the future with this sort of balancing.

But isn't that the point of the game and to be fair nobody has posted this build anywhere. I just went with it. Lvl XP after 50G and use 6 blade masters to cruise to lvl 9 add mf.

From plat 4 to diamond 4 over night and you're right other then knowing a bit about how to make this build I haven't gotten smarter or better. Though I did tilt donkey roll for blitz and I got 6th

i liked the old patched more,
Rise of the Elements was more fun,

tier5 champs are pretty OP, aspecialy Thresh

some things are pretty stupit, like getting 4 space pirates, always to late and to hard

feels like ramming some good champs, like darius and tanks, and then ramming for tier5 champs > using a decent tactic based on Origins+class

just seems 100%more borring then old patches

is that what you think the point of the game is? does that sound like compelling gameplay? if you find one comp per patch and just run it 50 times until the next patch? and if it's strong enough, everyone in the game is also doing the same thing? does that sound fun? or like it would foster a competitive esports environment?
