I'm afraid of joiing the queue

tl;dr the problem in my opinion is Riot has spent so much time and effort into punishing people based on what they type versus how they act, so now the trolls know if someone makes me mad and I don't type and just grief/troll all is good... and they have no good method of punishing people who troll in game, especially the people who do it discretely, like just split push and refuse to group all game.

It would help, clearly Riot isn't willing to hire the necessary manpower to manually adjudicate cases and AI isn't going to catch soft inters (who are far more common than hard inters) or champ select elo terrorists. So it needs to be outsourced to the community, a CS:GO-like system would probably work fine because of the availability of replays on the current patch.

That's just part of the problem, though. Riot has gone out of their way to appeal to the lowest common denominator by pandering to popular streamers/Youtubers who are known to soft int, I bet, because they're particularly popular with younger players. If players like T1 only raged it would be fine but they occasionally int games too. Even qtpie does it, lost count of how many games he'd get tilted from being 4-manned bot then spend more time in a grey screen than playing.

Though, ranked doesn't begin and end in challenger.

He is right to an extent. Toxicity is definitely high and if you have hard inters or ap garens running it down there should definitely be stricter punishments account suspensions/bans
Trash talking however is fine and is healthy to an extent. Softies will always exist and if you consecutively report people for very minor things you should also get a warning for being a crybaby.

I agree and I think people take toxicity out of context towards what voyboy is trying to explain, voyboy is just trying to explain a new form of toxicity that has been getting worse and worse.... I would rather have someone in my game flaming whose still playing the game and trying to win then someone inting my game or holding us hostage by refusing to group/trolling.

It's actually so sickening right now in diamond+ the players who die once and spam "gg" in chat within the first 15 mins and keep popping up surrenders cause their triggered so easily nowadays.... its like seriously this is solo q, it's never go next everything in this garbage queue especially on NA is winnable sadly if people would just play the game.

yes he is right ,but i don't think the problem is easily fixed . should focus on bugs and balanced because both are horrid .

I also had toxic reverse-inting AP SHYVANA on the enemy team who repeatedly killed me from over 900 units away with one flame
