There is a general consensus that playing a real support champion is unprestigious. If you think you can play any champion whose essential role is in another lane in the support lane then you also agree with that consensus. So playing Annie support is the same as playing Kayn support imo.

anything is viable in any lane. 5 mid all kayne support sure but the higher in elo you go those picks become less viable as the meta and skill tend to put those kinds of whacky picks in their place.
If Kayne sup is really good then i want to see it in high elo d1+ game otherwise its a pick for some good laughs.
