Make sure you are comfortable with every position in the game. Then find 2-3 champs you can play for each role.
If you have a terrible loss. Whether it was your fault or your teams it doesnt matter. Take a little break. Watch a show, masturbate, meditate. Whatever you gotta do to clear your head and remove the tilt.
When you are on a roll Don't stop unless you really have to. I find sometimes you can squeeze out 5-6 wins in a row when you're on a good victory high.
Abuse the system as much as you can. Sometimes champs are just broken. In S7 or S8 I had 16-0 W/L as Shyvanna because her jungle clear was just so much better than everyone elses with devourer she was disgusting until everyone was full build.
Dodging is sometimes viable (Not promos). Sometimes in champ select you will see something that will make you cringe. Trust your instincts. If you see an ADC Mid or some off-Meta shit like 2x duo AP bot Consider dodging. I would suggest looking up the summoner/s on OP.GG or other sites first and check their last few games / Overall season stats before u dodge. But Just remember it is always a viable option. You lose less LP in the end from dodging then from losses. But always wait until the last possible second to dodge because a sensible teammate might beat you to it.
Consider duo queueing. Friends make the game funner, more rewarding. potentially less tilting.
that's about all the tips I have. If I think of more I'll post again.
cheers and GL out there of the rift.
