You're using your personal experience as some sort constant across all people, your mechanics could have easily carried your shitty game knowledge. Maybe (I'm not actually saying this is true) you could have been diamond if you knew the Champs even better.

Id be playing arams tbh for a bit then go to ranked, esp since you need to learn how to team fight and position. Thats exactly what it is. That's what makes a good adc, its all up to how you position.

Gota learn how to trade effectively , ill bet your getting poked outa lane everygame which is causing you to get super far behind. Easiest adc to play / carry in low elo is cait. Find yourself a nice duo or something and try to cc chain with cait. Ie like a morgana or something that also has cc. So you can just trap em after they get all locked up.
