well people bot bronze to farm portraits etc or just lose on purpose then even if you are bronze and win 150 games in a row it wont promote you until you start losing.

/e like a smurf that dropped to bronze on purpose.

The MMR system is totally fucked, the MMR is so low that it's high, it is stupid. It happens a lot more than it should, which should be 0.

you can tank your mmr to play vs bronze cant you?

yep or vice versa a bronze will not be promoted until losing a few so someone who tanked all the way down can play back up before a promotion.
