I'm not a fan of your runes at all. Your build is fine, though, and you thoroughly explained his playstyle.

Um... With boots and your passive, you're sitting around 30%... That's a proc once per 3 hits.

When you think about it, runes are mostly used for the early game advantage anyway, being that 78 health from quints wont be much at level 18, or any bit of armor or magic resist won't be a great deal. These runes are to push you to be that very overpowered jax at level 1.
I'll play a game real quick and post the results to show how well it works.

That's why you pick runes that are effective into the late game, like CDR or arpen/mpen/dodge, things that don't get significantly worse as the game goes on.

Just did a game to show how effective this build was.
Lane was Nocturne and I versus Alistar and Lux. Was a hell of a rough lane with the CC and lack of ranged, but slowly it worked out and after so long, they simply couldn't stop me.

First blood on their tank...

And the ending results:


I queue'd solo.

Give it a try guys. Really, it really, really works. Very well.


If anyone would likee to play a game and see for themselves, I'm happy to play let alone demonstrate.

We can play a game and I can personally show you how well it works if you like.
If you're going to pick and pick at every little detail, at least offer the chance to be proven that it works, otherwise please do not comment.
I posted this guide to help people learn and start new characters with good strategies and tips to help them along the way, that is my goal for both the Karthus Guide and this one.
If you want to use it, I'll be happy you did. If not, well then that is your choice.
More than happy to demonstrate the effective use of either character.
