hey, i don't knock it but at a certain point the only advice will be "play something else". They aren't wrong, in context of "best to climb"

I watched some high elo players who said you can play any champion up to master. did i misunderstand what they meant? my team always asks me to play a tank

you CAN doesnt mean "best to climb".

they mean that if a player is skilled enough they can play anything and climb

if you aren't skilled enough (you're not), you're better off focusing on a handful of meta champs for your role and mastering them
