I had played in S1 and then a few season later, hit plat at some point then quit. Now I've come back - it's been a few weeks but I can already see cancer spreading around. I plan to play some ranked games in S10. I plan to focus on myself and don't care about winning hoping it will come naturally as I learn and improve. I tried this approach in dota and climbed to ~3500 mmr not knowing what 80% of champions do. I guess 3500 mmr in dota could be like gold/plat in LoL but not sure. I plan to hit diamond not spending more than 20 hours on league each week.

that's your problem, if you get tilted from being demoted that means you're tilting in games even if you don't show it to others you're making bad plays or making it harder for yourself.

you should always reevaluate the game before making decisions, don't do something that will make the problem worse.

Stop playing if you lose 3 games in a row.

Check yourself if you get heated/rage-y. There's no way you'll be receptive to feedback or learning experiences if all you do is rage, blame other people for your shortcomings, etc.

It's a video game. If you get pissy every time you play because you're not winning and you're not willing to assess the reasons why you're not winning, maybe you should play a different game.
