For duo, funneling is back in the game and its stronger than ever.
Mid Taric or Lulu with jungle Yi or Twitch.
Funnel was always a good way to climb, but at the moment it's most broken than it ever was or probably ever will be.

For solo, depending on lane and elo I guess
From my point of view it might be something along these lines:
top - fiora, quinn
mid - irelia, kassadin, cass
jungle - olaf, elise, warwick
adc - lol
support - nautilus, janna
