I am having this issue where I cant connect to the game. Once i start a game, like say aram or any mode... it goes straight to the reconnect screen... i clicked it and it keeps telling me to reconnect... I think the game is still running in the background but that window is not showing up...

anyone else having this issue or might know the solution to fix this?

Sounds like your antivirus is blocking connection

I had this same problem happen to me.

Your firewall could be blocking your game. clear out any old exceptions

Go to your control panel > System and security > Windows Defender Firewall
Click "Advanced settings" on the left panel
Click inbound rules one top left and sort by name
Click on and Delete all firewall exceptions that have "league" or "lol" in the name. (These include League kernel, league of legends and league launcher)
After that click New rule on the top right > Select Program > Click Next
Select "This program path" and set the file path to where leagueclient.exe is located (Usually here: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LeagueClient) > Click Next
Click Allow the connection > Check boxes for Public, Private and Domain > Next > Name it "league of legends"

If that doesn't work few more options

Install hextech repair and mess with a few options there.
Can try repatching, reinstalling, altering dns settings

Was this after you patched? If so :
Uninstall your antivirus and see if that works.
If that solves it then you probably need to whitelist league again in uour antivirus and do more exceptions in your antivirus

Yeah your in the correct place.
Make sure when your testing you do it in custom games as well so you dont get leavebustered.

Greyed out rules are disabled.

Make sure you sort the inbound rules by clicking the name tab, and scroll further down til you see league related stuff.
Then delete all your current firewall exceptions for league. It will say "league of legends, lol, league, etc"

After that click New rule on the top right > Select Program > Click Next
Select "This program path" and set the file path to where leagueclient.exe is located (Usually here: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\LeagueClient) > Click Next
Click Allow the connection > Check boxes for Public, Private and Domain > Next > Name it "league of legends"

big patches like the most recent one sometimes messes up firewall/antivirus stuff.
Some exceptions may be older and be interfering with your connection with league.

If that doesnt work try out the hextech repair as well..

Also make sure your league is being run on admin
League icon --> properties
Go over to the compatibility tab and click "Run this program as an Administrator".
Click Apply and OK

Also while your here, maybe also test it in different compatibility modes.

You can change your dns settings on it, repatch or clean uninstall on it

Just small fixes that sometimes help.

Usually when this happens to me it's just my antivirus or firewall though. Idk what the case is for you though
