I was chat restricted pre season 9 so roughly a year ago.
Not gonna lie honor level 1 first checkpoint was probably 6-7 months since i just gave up playing on that account.
from Honor level 1 1st checkpoint to yesterday was 2-3 months give or take a week.
from honor 1 checkpoint 2 to 3 it was roughly a month. Again, not playing exclusively on that account.
What i learned.
No matter how annoying your team is honor someone at the end of the game. For the honor system giving = receiving.
If you are playing with a duo never honor your duo, and ask that your duo honor someone else too.
Even if you don't get honored "everyone got a bit of honor that game" is usually the case.
I didn't really change my methods other than play to win no matter how annoying my team is. So even the 1/7 adc will get my flash to save their life if it means we win the team fight for some reason.
I don't ass kiss but i take the 15 seconds while walking back to lane to recognize efforts done by team mates.
All in all, i think someone can reasonably do a level 0 to level 2 within 2-3 months of playing at least 10-15 games per week.
