For the life of me, I cannot get out of silver 1, I will win a game, lose a game, over and over for about 2 weeks now. My goal with this game was to hit Gold and then take a long break, I don’t want to climb any further than that. But for whatever reason I just can’t do it!


I climbed from bronze4 to here playing only 3 champions, malzahar and Vladimir mid, and Zyra support (I would play brand of Zyra got banned, but that didn’t happen often)


I think that my macro game is about as good as it can get, I know where to be at all times, when to back, when to shove and freeze lanes, when to roam. Playing midlane will do that for you. I have to believe it is my micro game that is holding me back and maybe I’m just getting to old to be good at games that require this level of precision?


Coaching/Advice, and maybe even a boost(of booster would like to PM me) would be appreciated. Are there different champions I should be playing?


I can’t stand playing champions that don’t do damage, and I also can’t stand playing champions that have weak mid/late games and no chance of crawling out of a bad start.

Brand and zyra are great choices, dont need to change that at all. Even if your adc isnt so good you still make up for it.

You get a free win for each time you reach promos

So you only need to win 1 of 3 games in promos after reaching it your 3rd time.

How many games have you played in silver1?

Do you find yourself losing lane often? Where do you feel is the problem? You say micro, so I assume you're losing lane?

You just have to find something you can carry better with.

I’d try norms for that

I try and play champs with the higher win rate for the patch, there are websites you can look at statistics.

Other than that just focus on playing the best you can and have a good mental attitude about the games you’re in

I’ve noticed that’s helped me win more

I’m only gold 2 so advice from me isn’t much but it worked for me

I haven’t even hit promos man, I’m at 40LP. Gaining 20 for a win and -17 for a loss.


I would say my lane phase is average, I win about 40-50% of the time. Struggle often against Zoe and Ahri, so those are usually my go to bans. Don’t do that great against guys like Renekton or Morde if I have to laneswap to top.


I’m good in the late game, especially with Vladimir. I think he might be the best late game mage in league if I’m being honest.


I could probably improve the most in Laning phase, that is definetely my weakest area. I have a tendency to overextend, and I’ll often miss my empowered q on a champion and end up hitting a minion instead. I wish I knew how to upload a replay onto here, my last game really highlights some of my inefficiencies in early lane phase.

Any recommendations for champions to try mid? Talon looks kinda fun, but I like to have a little more flavor in the kit, although he has pretty good escape for the midlane

If you need boost on euw/eune hit me up, finished a g4-p4 boost a few weeks ago, Malz is stupid dumb to climb with, even with 0 experience on the champ. Won 17 solo games in a row with that champ for a guy on here.
