I used to think Id hold my own and enjoy the competition with more teamplay/teamfights. Turns out I just get owned without having any idea what mistake I made.

Probably a good opportunity for you to learn. Hire a coach and/or analyze your plays and compare them to better plays.

unless your good or plannin no going pro.. Just pub it and enjoy the game. Why waste money on coaches.

I once got coached but that was the first time (in another game) so he said I could pay him any amount I wanted to, I payed only 1000g instead of the 2500 he asked for so it wasnt too bad.

I mean coaches are good regardless, it helps a person see the game from a new perspective that they've never seen. It's more satisfying when you progress and win vs losing and raging. Even being coached in the basics are worth it, but there's ways to go about it ie streams and youtube

Tldr it feels good to eat something within 5 mins then cook for 30-1 hr just for dinner 😝
