Does anyone know on a brand new lvl 30 account never been placed in ranked before does your actual skill level play into effect or do you start at the bottom?

I peaked at plat 1 last season and decided to make a new account to play around with. What would i most likely get placed in?

If i had a someone high diamond low masters do my placements would it even make a difference?

I think you get ranked high silver/low gold on brand new account if youre doing good

Low gold if you go like 7-3 doing decent, but can get to plat within 15-20 games

i dont think tho, just went 9-1 and got placed silver 2

maybe that was prior to them adding iron, forgot to take that into account.

But for you, 3-4 wins should take you to gold I think

gonna be placed pretty low.

they changed it this season where youre placed at a lower rank but get massive LP after wins... making it harder for bronze level players to hit gold by 10-0 as support then int all silver1 promo games... also the high LP gains allows diamond+ players to hit escape gold/plat faster than previous seasons

i hate when people say that you're KDA matters for placements or ranked in general
if you go 0/90/0 in all your games and still manage with win them all somehow, it will place you the same as someone who carried hard getting 45/0/0 KDA in there games
the only thing that matters is your MMR vs who you are playing against MMR
