Hey guys,

just a warning post.
As per MTGO ToS, trading with forum gold is forbidden (which I did not know since you can buy/sell them for money, pretty sure this was changed not that long ago, maybe 2020?).
Also - it is a bit ridiculous.

Regardless - be careful with mentioning forum gold or d2jsp in game. My 10+ years account was put into trade restriction mode due to it.

Please also note that participating in transactions that involve trades of Magic Online digital items for 3rd party digital items (e.g., forum gold) is behavior is prohibited on Magic Online per the Magic Online User Agreement: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-online-user-agreement.

To sum up, they stated they will not lift the trade restriction on the account - not much left there so not a big loss (apart from the old account, decent history and great memories :)), but could be much worse.

Its easy for scammers to buy tickets with a stolen credit card and trade them off on here for forum gold

Perhaps 'escrow' tickets (view tickets on their account, but hold purchase for x days, where x is how long it would take for acc to have been locked from a stolen credit card? Anyone know roughly how long that would take?)
