I wanted to create a thread that can hopefully add value and help people grow their MTGA collection or overall thought process in mastering Magic the gathering.

I am a limited specialist and normally my username is goldendragon1 (cannot access the d2jsp account because I can't recall password or which email my account was associated with)
I was ranked top 50 in the world on Magic the gathering Online
https://magic.wizards.com/en/content/player-year-limited-standings (search goldendragon1 I ended the year at #36 keep in mind I only grinded for a few months as after that I received sponsorship to go to california to help promote a mtgo online store and was practicing for the grand prix at the time which was my first limited grand prix that I entered and cashed. Granted the year was 2015 and a long time from now I have made mythic on TONS of occassions on mtga.

My Goal of this thread: Hopefully I can provide some value to you guys and am able to amount so fg(Even 1 fg is greatly appreciated also it helps if you put MTG advice or something you found useful so I know where to focus my time and attention) in this way or extra prerelease codes you guys aren't using or maybe I can even help you in terms of what cards to invest in or talk out some of your theories and ideas (This is a free service that I can talk to you guys through discord and thoughts about card evaluation and thoughts and if it is something you find valuable to you hopefully we can create a win-win relationship)
I believe that by teaching some of these things you will be able to improve your experience on MTGA or magic the gathering or really any trade card or game where these teachings apply.

Now lets get to the value.

TODAYS Quests:
Into the Future (The current quest at hand that you can keep playing)

BEST deck and hypothesis:
Red Carpet Revel (currently 6 or 7 and 0)
finally lost first match to esper (BUW) I had a mediocre start that didnt curve out and they played the connive spell that says whenever any player cast their 2nd spell connive (Best strategy with esper is just keep passing with big defenders and save removal spells for only key creatures in Naya (RGW) i.e. lifelink creature, back ally gardener or Jetmir (Knowing the key threats in other decks and maximizing your value will help you win a higher percentage of your matches)
(Lost 2nd match right after to RBG due to mulliganing and opponent having perfect curve concede and move on to next game)

The reason this is the best deck is not only because of the overall synergies of the deck but the ability to curve out incredibly and overwhelm your opponents in a fast speed.

What many people do not consider is that in formats like these that don't' punish a loss and reward a win, the faster you know situations where you are going to lose or a long grindy game it is better to just concede and move onto the next match. This could save you a ton of time and end up allowing you to grind you daily wins or rewards MUCH faster than most.

Tips with the deck:
If possible always play a forest first because if you were to analyze the deck list many of the 2 drops are GR or GW with the exception of intrepid adversary which you typically want to play on a turn where you can play the kicker ability anyways for maximum value..

Two biggest bombs and keys within the deck to be able to utilize and maximize:
Back Alley Gardener - As we all know tempo is key and if you can play this on early on turn 3(if you have creatures to follow or on a turn where you can double cast creatures so you can get the positive effect right away getting insane value)
- One of the ideal situations is to have played a 2 drop rope line (GW) and play the Back alley after being able to allow the backally to create a 1/1 therefore triggering the ability of getting an extra land. (racketeer boss on 2 is also fine as by playing the Back Alley will create a treasure [I'd only make this play if I had a tenacious pup in hand so I can capitalize on the land search] and I may even avoid playing tenacious pup on turn one even if I can if I see tenacious pup, racketeer and back alley gardener in hand. I believe this line gets the most value out of this

Jetmir, Nexus of Revels (BIGGEST BOMB in deck) - If you play this near mid to end game you almost always win right after provided you set up your field right. I rarely play this turn 4 even if I can cause the real value in it is trigger the 6 creature+ ability

Removal Spells-
Strangle and March of orderly light are the 2 main removal spells and the biggest tip I can give here is not use it whenever you can and wait to remove key threats in other decks. Many people have the inclination that they have to play something on every turn (to maximize value and efficiency, but that isn't true) Sometimes the best we can do is understand all the decks and use our removals on the threats that are much harder to deal with or have evasion that we would otherwise not be able to answer

Well before this gets too long and ends up being a TLDR essay Lets see the feedback from this and if anyone has any questions or comments they'd like to discuss first.
I wanted to add images but not quite sure how to do that from computer guessing I need to upload an image somewhere before being able to post here which is not as worthwhile for the time being.
ANYTHING AFTER THIS LINE IS JUST OVERALL MTGA TIPS THAT I WILL CONTINUE ADDING TO AND NOT AS TIME SENSITIVE

As Most people know already to check the daily deals once a day sometimes you can find gold for less gold or gems for less gems so that you get instant free values.

Another tip is waiting for 2-3 days of quest to stack up so you don't have to grind as many games if time is an issue you do not want to waste so you can complete multiple quests with fewer games

LIMITED TIPS:
THIS SECTION AND UNDER I WILL KEEP ADDING INFORMATION OR KEY THINGS AS I NOTICE THEM
I would actually rare draft starting pack 2 and 3 depending on how my deck is looking or if the card that would fit into the deck is only mediocre and I know I will have enough to choose from at end of draft (The reasoning for this is it not only builds up the vault but before they would give gems for any rares or mythics you have that surpasses the 4 (Not sure if this is still in effect) Typically with the overall power levels of today's cards you won't have a shortage of cards to build from and that additional common won't really improve your win % by much vs the guaranteed value (Thinking of every rare/mythic rare drafted is almost like receiving a free pack)
I am not sure if there is added value in this but I always choose like a default uncommon first then uncommon after when there isn't a card that improves a deck at hand because I believe the vault value goes up based on what you get after you complete a playset 4x (so I'd draft an uncommon I always see late pick as most uncommons I probably wont use so don't need 4x of each but much rather have 100 or 200 of a singular uncommon so that build vault value faster)

As of this posting I have these WILD CARDS
234 common
420 uncommon
50 rare
40 mythic

(I typically am more frugal in spending rare wild cards as many of you probably realize a lot of decks typically have a much higher rare count then mythic due to the land base. Meaning if a decklist requires 4 of a rare I'll typically buy 2 or 3 first to see if I really need to prioritize it now or not as I'll eventually get one in limited anyways only exception is land base if it's from an older set i'll go ahead and purchase 4x of it as the utility in multiple deck builds is GREAT value)

BEST BUDGET DECK TO GRIND LADDER WITH:
4x Commune with Spirits
3x Fang of Shigeki (run more than others because I value speed and willing to concede to next match to get more wins per hour easier to curve out if want higher win % can run less of this)
4x Generous Visitor
1x Tamiyo's Safekeeping (teching this in for the format)
2x Circle of Confinement (I'd recommend making this 3x or 4x cutting 1x Fang for win % but not for win per hour)
4x Michiko's Reign of Truth (one of the most powerful cards in deck if set up right especially when you use weaver of harmony ability to have 2x ability normally used on lifelink for value or trample to push for game)
4x Spirited Companion
4x Kami of Transience (can possibly cut it to 3x I just run 4x as a trial atm I'd recommend running 2x if not enough rares and focus on other parts of deck)
4x Weaver of Harmony (GET 4x this is one of the most vital cards in the deck and have the most utility can be dropped for 1 green mana can be abused with circle of confinement or even use with spirit companion if mana flooded)
4x Jukai Naturalist
4x Showdown of the sky (Many don't run 4x but I think this card is way too powerful not to hands that have 2x in starting hands I normally mulligan 50% of them as starting with 2x is just like a mulligan)
1x Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire (These rare lands can be prioritized later for f2p players)
1x Plains
1x Boseiju, Who Endures (Same as Eiganjo, but I'd get this before Eiganjo for versatility)
2x Forest
1x Lair of the Hydra (Some versions run 2x but I'd get this one before boseiju and eiganjo)
3x Cragcrown Pathway (Prioritize these above all land base first as it creates consistency)
2x Rockfall Value (pathways before these lands)
4x Needleverge Pathway (this is the only one as I am typing I'd probably switch to 3x and Cragcrown to 4x as green on turn 1 is far more vital then having opening to white, but maybe cause more green sources this was decision)
2x Sundown Pass (pathways before these lands)
4x Branchloft Pathway (PRIORITIZE this pathway first as it is the most critical for consistency)
1x Overgrown Farmland (I'd actually get the Rockfall before the farmland but prioritize the pathways first)

I am playing standard ranked best of 1 just to be able to grind up fast from the start of this post to this edit from 1 day and reached bronze to gold 4 already in a matter of a few hours if that.
Once reach gold I went on quite a losing streak so will need to research current standard and format later, but if no interest or response I probably won't bother as limited is my specialty, but seeing from lack of response I may not even bother.
That is the decklist we will run through some tips in how to navigate it later let me know what you guys think
(Mind you I can be updating this deck with new cards but haven't yet so this deck can improve even more if this is content you guys enjoy but it is already pretty explosive as is and winning 60-70% of games including me conceding fast to move onto next game in which some of those games I didn't concede would have yielded a win also, Also knowing when to trade units is key don't trade Weaver or jukai as easily but you can trade kami because it returns from graveyard)

Thank you for taking the time to check out this thread. If you have any comments or would like to discuss any points further feel free to post them here and I'll see if I have any inputs or thoughts on how I can improve this content. (I will also check the other decks more in depth if that is what some of you would like but so far I am either 4 or 5 and 0 with this deck) Remember the speed in which you can win is one of the biggest things you can do to save time and grind faster especially when everyone else is not picking the optimal deck your overall win per hour will greatly increase vs a format like standard or limited in which more variables will be in play and luck will play a bigger factor.
If you could leave a comment with which tips you enjoyed the most or with questions will really help me to figure out best way to write or produce future content.

I really like this deck because it's quite cheap to build in Arena containing very few rares.

I've been able to pilot this deck to gold quite easily. It might not be as quick as the deck you listed above but it does get consistent wins and is cheap to build in arena.

I've got about 80-90% win rate playing from bronze to gold currently. Have not played much at gold rank yet.

Nice list you posted. It is nice build as you have many things to stop aggro early fable of the mirror breaker is so broken I feel that the card is going to see more play later Also I rarely build SB decks nowadays as mtga doesnt really punish loses and rewarrd wins so I rather really fast best of 1 deck so I can grind through faster.

I personally enjoy limited formats more like drafting and sealed. Although sealed on mtga not as worth as drafts unless i seal a deal for it in store for sealed pass i prob never play sealed

Also normally once you reach higher levels the decks you reached to get there typically won't pilot through as easily in terms of win rate. But I haven't really spent a lot of time on current standard format yet as this topic doesn't seem to be generating enough interest. I am messing around with a game called skyweaver atm also

I can usually reach mythic in both limited and constructed if I wanted to but not much point to grind atm.
