First impressions from limited:

There is enough mana fixing in this set to cleanly play tri colour decks. This is contingent on treasure tokens, they help a lot for the fixing

connive is a good draw source but I wouldn't be connive heavy in a deck unless I am a fast deck because you will need to discard mana or else discard a good card for a 1/1 counter is not good.

Blitz is really good because it essentially allows you to cycle. The Draw effect is pretty good.

hideaway can be a cool ability because you get the play the exiled card for free,

There isnt a lot of exile so they use the shield counters that way eventually the creatures can die. With so many tokens in this set the shield counters go away fast imo

There is a lot of burn but little creature removal and even less planewalker removal.

There are the 5 tri colour cards that you can exile to enhance a land. These cards are insanely under rated. Not only do they really help with fixing, but also you can just splash any of these when playing only two colours then you can tap the land for the third kind of mana, so they can be played very efficiently even in a 2 colour deck. Really good cards.

Alliance is by far the best ability in the set imo. Especially because red white and green and blue have considerable amount of token generation.

The 3 tri colour choose one spells are over rated imo except for the black geen red one. STill need to test these more but even with good fixing you won't always get 1 of each colour by turn 3 so you usually arent playing this turn 3

Green does not have a lot of big creatures, focusing on Tokens.

The best card in the set is Celebrity Fencer. Hands down. This card won me almost all of my games (i got super lucky with 3 copies in one of the pods I was in)
With so much burn and so little hard removal, big creatures are king in this set and this creature gets big fast. It costs 4 mana so you will have 4-5 ana the next turn to dump your hand and get it big.



This card is insane. Especially in Naya.

I combod it with Rabble Rousing as my literally only good rare and these two cards won me games on the spot.



lastly I had elegeant entourage which when combod with rabble rousing gets every creature trample, in particular the fencer

The best common/uncommon is Disciplined Duelist hands down



I got two 7 wins already, the strongest decks I faced were full of shield cards and cards that buff them.
One of my opponents played Brokers Ascendancy on t3-4, that was insane.



Apart from the obvious bombs and insane rare cards my favourite pick is Night Clubber. There are so many ways to use it, and it usually is a board wipe for your opponent when played early.

Brokers ascendancy is not a fair card if you get to draft that its a 100000% draft

clubber is pretty cool especially when the opponent is massing 1/1s

Bant is so strong

White and Blue with whatever else is definitely the best but Bant is just so strong with its cards too

it seems more inbalanced than Kamigawa

I actually find 18 lands with a few of those fetches is good in this format. I find myself going tri and splashing a 4th or 5th colour. Some cards are so strong if you get a decent pack 1 I will completely change my deck for a good rare in pack 2 or 3 tbh. The rares really overpowered in this set.



I have a Bolas commander deck so Im stoked to add these lands and a few of these 3 colour cards.

Just draft 3 Mythics bro easiest 5 colour splash I have ever had 7 wins with.

anecdotal evidence of what you were saying where they are just so good so include/change your deck for the rares/mythics in this set they are all so good. Each of these cards won me at least 1 game and I was committed to red black at the end of the first pack basically

Splashed the 1/4 bird (pack 2 pick 1) and the Green planewalker (pack 3 pick 1) in a red black sacrifice deck



I know winning 7 games with 3 mythics isnt that impressive in any set but still these mythics carrrrieeedd... the 2 copies of Murder helped too

I think the two card combo above is what makes red/black good in this format, I know Blue and White are so strong with their tempo and draw n shit but honestly the combo above gives so much tempo and value all at once it really is a game changer. If you find the involuntary employment early in a draft and also have a couple decent red/black cards I would take it because body dropper is one of those cards that will almost always be passed through for a 9th 10th 11th pick so almost always when i go red black I can pick up 2 or three of the body dropper late. You can also grab a casualty burn spell and it becomes a deadly board clear esque type play for 6 mana or whatever. The card makes a treasure token too so it helps fix and you can do the combo turn 5 sometimes assuming body dropper is already in play

ob Nixilis is a 100% pick

you splash this card even if you are bant green white blue most of the time imo
