Me and my girlfriend got up to over 500 cards not including mana so our library of recent cards is increasing. We still don’t have access to a lot of cards but any advice given I would appreciate.

My main deck idea; black and red, dealing damage to the opp life while constantly attacking with low/mid haste monsters (heartlash cinder and embereth paladin , etc..) while utilizing + instants and sorceries. The black instants and sorcery will focus on destroying the opponents field with -hp and destroy targets and and killing their hand.

Is this doing too much, or is it too basic of a style to build around?
