Hey guys, made a trade with an user in d2jsp, bought him tix with my fgs for an amount of 138 tix.

2 days ago saw that i received a email that asking me where does the tix come from smh and why was the window trade empty and me just taking tix from him.
I don't know if I bought from a legit user, or maybe he purchased the tixs the wrong way, so i'm not gonna reveal the name for now, but what should I answer to the support to not see my account MTGO being locked?

Just tell them that he owed you money irl or something and that this was the easiest way for him to pay you back

It's hard to say exactly but it definitely seems like any trade over 100tix triggers some sort of alert for them to check it to see if anything suspicious is going on (empty trade window, obvious chat reference to jsp or fg, etc)

Its totally fucked now. I bought a brand new mtgo account. Traded with someone 100% legit. Made a fake reddit thread of me buying the tickets, they asked for evidence I provided it. Still got banned the next day.

what's the difference between buying from someone on d2jsp or a trusted vendor? Pretty new to this, just wondering

Just had an answer back from mtgo support,
they told me that :

Our investigation has determined that the items you have purchased were stolen. Due to this your account has been banned for fraudulent activity.

Should I believe they investigated and I simply bought from a scammer, no trusted source or what?
If so i'm gonna report this guy, because I lost my mtgo account for that ..

yep, he prob bought tix then charged back purchase. or straight up stole them from someone (but cb is most common). post the user's name so others are aware
