If you trade mtgo items (card/tickets/etc) for d2jsp forum gold - or vice versa - you will be banned.

It has come to our attention that your account is participating in transactions that involve trades of Magic Online digital items for 3rd party digital items (e.g., forum gold).

Please be aware that this behavior is prohibited on Magic Online per the Magic Online User Agreement: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-online-user-agreement. As a result of these actions your account has been terminated.

Per the Terms of Service, any Member whose Account/s have been terminated by Wizards of the Coast may not access the Game Service in any manner or for any reason without the express written permission of Wizards of the Coast. Active members may not allow former Members to use the active Members' Account or User Name, and risk account termination for doing so.

For your own safety DO NOT trade fg on mtgo. I lost thousands of dollars in cards all for a few dollars worth of fg and I don’t want that to happen to you.

I was also banned and I only did one trade in the last ~ 6 months

I have a mtgo account because i play mtgo, not to buy/sell tickets.

I lost atleast $2,000 worth of cards.

Legacy DnT deck
Modern Jund deck
Modern Deathcloud deck

Plus miscellaneous stuff (about 50tix etc)

I rarely use jsp to trade. Always small tix amounts and no scamming going on - tix bought from mtgo store.

Never mention jsp in game.

Edit: has anyone who got banned had any luck getting their account back?

Whoever pm’d me about trying to get their account back goodluck :) message me when you hear back from management - I accidentally deleted pms and lost your name.

My account was suspended for this and I got unbanned by simply calling and speaking to WoTC.
I have been a MODO user for a decade and a steady customer that entire time. They didn't even hesitate to unlock my account for me. They did say I will get banned permanently if I did it again though.
