If you can't trade (trade button is grayed out), it's very likely because it's been disabled for your account temporarily,

whilst MTGO checks whether your recent purchases / trades are completely above board. This usually takes a couple of days.

You can try to contact support via email or phone to perhaps speed up the process of getting you unlocked.

Basically the same reasons / procedure applies for disabled / temp-locked accounts.

Hello, I'm heavily considering getting into this. I played a long time ago (first set was Invasion, idk how long ago that is) and stopped.

So I have a few questions:

1) Can you play vs a computer just to learn the rules and practice again?

2) You pay to get into tournaments with tix right? How much is the usual cost? Are they separated into different levels (beginner, advanced, etc)? What are the chances someone has of winning at the easiest level (Are the players good even at the earliest stages)? How many people are usually in the tourneys?

3) What do you win once you get 1st in a tournament?

4) From the starter 1200 cards you get, can you form a good deck from just that? or do you have to buy a few more packs to get anything good?

5) You can buy packs with tickets right? or do you have to pay cash for those as well?

6) can you sell any good cards you may get?

1) In mtgo, i don't think there are any options to play vs a computer. you can however, play vs other people on mtgo without spending tickets

2) I'm not the best person to answer this as my actual mtgo tournament experience is close to nil. That said, it's general knowledge that the level of tournament play on MTGO is fairly high.
I can give you some resources/links if you want more info about this. A fair number of JSP'ers are also knowledgeable in this regard, depending on what formats they play.

Ticket costs: check this link i think it's updated.. ($1 = 1 ticket)

3) Rewards? same link above

4) generally, no :)

5) yes, with tickets you can do almost anything (they're mtgo currency)

6) yes, you can sell cards back for tickets or even for cash (or fg as the case may be)
