Most of them sold their accounts huh? What evidence do you base that off? Most of the 04 people I played d2 with back in the day just don't use the forum anymore, they didn't sell it off. These guys are in their 30's now with families and jobs and interests in other games. Is it possible that some people did sell of their accounts? sure, but you are going out on a limb to say "most of them". It's true that you can't just go by the users join date, you should also use other factors to determine who you trade with, but I trust an older account mroe than a newer account in almost all cases. There are a few exceptions like you mention, but that's an exception, not a norm.
