D2JSP is Wrong.
D2JSP IS against Blizzard's EULA (End-user License Agreement). Therefore, if found to use D2JSP, you could possibly be subjected to a ban.
Who is the owner of D2JSP? Paul Taulborg otherwise known as Njaguar online.
Did I ever use D2JSP?
Yes. I am guilty of using it to some extent, until I realized just how harmful it was to the game. Now, I trade in the game and haven't been on D2JSP in months. I know to a decent degree as to how it works, and it's rise in 2002. And after using D2JSP, I must admit it has been a great waste of my time. Not only do you not experience the game itself, but you're supporting a guy who destroyed the game in his personal strive to make money in reality.
Why we should not support Mr. Taulborg:
Paul is a great example of the kind of monstrosity that one individual could bring into a game such as, Diablo 2. Granted the fact, that I am a little biased. However, let's face the facts. He makes thousands of dollars from the Diablo community every single year. Through donations and other services, he is able to surmount such a great salary, that I bet he's taking a trip to Jamaica as we speak. Now is this the reason to bring him down? No, of course not. In fact, I envy intelligent individuals who are able to make a profit from themselves. But.... this individual, in particular, is gaining his money through corrupted methods.
Why is he corrupted:
Not only is this site against Blizzard's EULA, it also quite literally ruined Diablo. The thousands of players that roamed the Diablo trade channels and games are now using D2JSP as a means of a better trading system. That is respectable. With the incredibly duped economy Diablo had and still has it is believable that many players moved to D2JSP. But, the fact still stands, if we didn't have D2JSP we would have many more players ACTUALLY playing the game than sitting in front of a website for hours that promises them salvation from bad economics. So due to Mr. Taulborg here (and the dupers), we sit atop a heaping bundle of mess that use to be the Diablo economy.
How are you supporting D2JSP:
Simply by trading in D2JSP, you're just one of a hundred-thousand people who stimulate the economy of the site. Some individuals go as far as donating actual money to the site while others ACTUALLY buy their FG through real money. By the way, you can't use FG to go into the grocery store and buy milk. So, essentially, you're giving that money away, as FG is worthless in reality, and in online it doesn't really matter now does it?
The drastically complex solution:
Stop trading on D2JSP and get your arse to Diablo. It's that simple. Quite contrary to what the bolded title depicts. It really is that simple. IF, as a community, we all one by one stopped using D2JSP, eventually it's numbers would go down to the point where FG becomes nothing, which realistically speaking, it already is nothing. Don't donate to Njaguar, and don't buy fg. By doing so, you're contributing to Taulborg's personal greed and ambition which in turn stimulate D2JSP and destroys Diablo. At the same time, you have to remember that Taulborg can create FG with a push of a button. Can you now believe he actually gains money from something he can make with a push of a button?
Effect on D2JSP:
There is honestly nothing to say here because it was already mentioned before. Fg would practically become worthless if, as a community, we wouldn't use it. Just as an American dollar, paper money has no real value. An American dollar only has value because we decide that it does, and thus we treat it as gold. Paper money can be printed and gold cannot. The same concept lies with D2JSP. If we toss the FG and use Diablo instead (how it was meant), FG will be worthless.
Future of D2JSP:
Again, there would be no future. And remember that the exact same effect will occur in Diablo 3 due to d2jsp if we do not rise up against this greed stricken individual and agree that FG is worthless. Because in Diablo 3, no one wants to be sitting in front of a site. I think all of us will be too excited actually playing the game.
And finally, the closing:
If you want to see the Diablo franchise flourish again, don't use d2jsp when it comes out. While Diablo 2's economy has been destroyed for a long time, Diablo 3 will still have to chance to redeem its economy. IF, however, you want to sit in front of a website supporting some guy and his money, then by all means trade on this site. If you have half a mind, you will AT LEAST minimize your trade on D2JSP and learn to trade in Diablo 2, so that the economy gets better even a little.he banned yet?
