Not Roy,
I use Comcast for Digital Cable, and pay way too much. For my DSL, I use AT&T (formerly SBC) and have a pretty decent deal. I think I pay 19-21 monthly for DSL. I also have a separate phone line for my home office, adding about 20 to the cost in the end.
As far as bundling goes, I intend to investigatge AT&T's combo packages for cable and internet, which I believe is called "U-Verse". My understanding is that it is aggressively priced, but has somewhat limited availability in our area.
Check with the local Chamber of Commerce. You may find a smokin' internet deal in your area.
Ugh, we're going to end up with ATT - we essentially don't have a choice. Comcast is not available in our area and Charter (the only cable available) is just unnecessarily expensive and charges $49.99 just to activate service, which I find completely ridiculous. The only problem is that ATT only has basic DSL in our area so we won't be able to really stream Netflix to our xbox 360 anymore. Argh. I think we're going to be stuck with ATT's slowest DSL and Direct TV's satellite through ATT. Being a grown up is difficult.
