we had yesterday something like this.
it's calling: *Sonnwendfeier* - translated something like: sun-change-festival ... well - basically just the time where the days are smaller again and the night will during longer. (ok, now my denglish is miserabel )
we celebrate it with a *sonnwendfeuer* (a big fire at saturday night - outside ofc :D), fireworks (whatever it calls in english) and a big party around the fire

but yesterday was a rain day so i stayed at home...

damn, i worked the whole day - really need a brake now ...

I was on a Sonnwendfeier yesterday

It has rained, but the fire has burned and the party was great.
