but at least with Latin-based languages there's a congruity to the basic structure of words/letters, but going to Japanese I can't find any sort of continuity between letters and sounds and shit. Like the way they write "ka" vs "ga" etc there's no similarities that I can figure out :/ just like a "you fucking remember 20x as many letters as your native and second language or gtfo"
