he keeps bringing up the guy he fired (that I got rehired) and how it's so much better with me and him (the current boss) working instead of the guy who got fired.  And it's taking everything I have to say something like "well obviously not because I just got you fired and it only took 8 hours of effort and 2 hours of talking with the owners.

WOW this is going to be hard. Some customer called in that my boss was supposed to tell them when their spa cover was in so they could pick it up. He never did and they were raged, and they had supposedly paid for delivery. They live 2 miles away from the store. So I'm going literally 1/4 mile from their house on Monday so I offered to deliver it then even though there was no paperwork for us to deliver it. They said that's fine and they calmed down and it doesn't cost me anything but 2 minutes to do.

Boss gets raged at me for appeasing a customer and flips out for 15 minutes telling me how horrible the decision was to appease them to keep them as a customer instead of telling them to fuck off and pay $30 for delivery for a 2 mile trip...

and I nearly laughed my ass off. I wanted to say "ORLY?!? that's funny because I FUCKING WILL BE IN 2 WEEKS ASSHOLE"
