im doing:

introduction to the history of medicine in the 18th and 19th century.

Q: Awnser the following questions to show your understanding of the 'patient knows best' approach to medical treatment in the 18th and 19th century

1. what techniques used to diagnose patients illness?
2. summarise the difference between a Physician. apothecary and a barber surgeon
3. explain the importance of the patients narrative
4. briefly outline the 4 humours and theyre place in the diagnosis and the treatment if the illness or disease
5. why were the patient and doctor considered equal?
