No not obviously the Matrix seems closer to true than the Bible to me, I've read both and seen many movies... I see your point though but majority of religious people are too closed to see others points.
Believe me I've been there and back trying to get people to see how their fictional book is as real as any vampire movie. I never got to that point not even after 6.5 years and even living with the girl for that long because she didn't have parents, she was quite the believer too she only missed 1 day of Church the whole time I knew her and that was when I was in the hospital for getting shot in the arm by some rand on the streets.
