Yazz has brought to my attention that what did happen to Shane on the ladder is not right and needs to be address - this similiar situation happen to Yazz on the BvB ladder and he agrees it needs to be modified

Now Yazz has suggested this 'Top 3' rule - I like this rule and Yazz can elaborate more on it. My question is how do we go about modifying the ladder and incorprate this as well as placing Shane back into a proper spot so everyone will be happy and continue to have fun, b/c thats what this is about. Shane has pointed out the flaw in this and we agree with him

Ty drac.. My method of bring this up i guess went way wrong.. but im glad through it all the message was not lost. I know DT is above the "standard" JSP ideas, and i know you guys are doing your best to look at everything.

I really like this idea.. as u reach the top of the ladder there becomes a clear "path" you could say to beocme number 1. (yes i know this is for fun but heh we all want number 1). After looking at a lot of things about ladders and rankings today i can see how bracketing can keep things moving..not always in the right direction but it does force movement.

With that idea in mind and the fact there would be movment of the lower ranks, and the dodge rule playing its part i could see a very accurate user freindly ranking system.

One more thing i wanna toss out while im in a level headed mood. If a Admin of the ladder duels i feel he/she should not be the one to update the ladder. I know theres some backs and forths with this to.. i know our people our honest.. but as our Neo brings up... so many people are plainly dishonest.. and it could in effect solve some later problems by restricting if u was in the dueling to be updated you pm it to another admin to update it for ya..

just some more ideas. also ive read almost every ladder on jsp atm.. and the rules, ya should maybe try to get a very clear location of the updated rules to add to sum1 profile and in updates direct them there.
