and i like that it says from promotion, atleast then new people know that its not some special rank its just for a rank

it says "* Custom ranks move with members as they are promoted and not a way to "jump up" in guild ranking"
so if i be good my rank can go up? and if i arrrrr like a pirate it goes down?

Yeap, pretty much how that will work If you get a promotion it will move up, and if you get demoted you wont loss your custom rank, it will just be moved down a slot.
