Dark Tavern will be changing a little of its resonsiblility roles, this is not a punishment in any way - I have moved some people around with responsibilities to better fit their schedules and present events as well as future events:
- Yazz & Joe/Neoblack will be running the night check as well as other things, thats TBA...
- Seth/CoffeemasterX & myself will be running day check, as well as other things, also TBA...
- Other management will be incoporated as they become more involved

- Yazz will be taking over for guild events/contests, if you have an idea or suggestion? Please see him

Also Dark Tavern, now that we have been up a running? Will now begin on a series of inner-guild contests and events, the first presentation is the BvB ladder - the administrative and rules/parameters is still being constructed, completion will be by this weekend With several more to follow - those dates and events will be TBA(to be announced) (example is next will be a Banner contest, designed by Yazz, more will come later).

[As most of you know the inner-guild Barbarian vs Barbarian ladder duels is quickly approaching. Several things will begin to unfold, the rules and parameters of the ladder shall be posted this weekend and well as the ladder administrative personel. These rules/parameters that will be the structure of the duels and ladder competition are put in place to help people understand how the duels and ladder work, they are modelled after JSP East/West Ladder rules that have existed for years and have been successful.

The role of the Administrators will be to monitor and update the ladder, they will be the only ones to post the rank listings. This is will set in place to avoid a cluster of chaotic posts.

DT BvB Administrators: TBA (feel free to submit your request as candidacy and what qualifies yourself to me, which I will share with the Dark Tavern Management for review, submissions will ONLY be accepted throught private message! Posting in GC/Bar Chat will not be recognized).

Barbarian vs Barbarian competition of Dark Tavern (Inspired by VoRo/Tony).
This competition/event consists of creating a Barbarian lvl85+, since gathering gear & weapons for a Godly Barbarian takes way too much time and FG - this competition takes a different direction.
All Barbarians to enter this competition will not be required to use Godly runewords but instead acquire the full Immortal King set, this will be shown by your Barbarian have the shiney arua to him. This way we can have BvB competitions and a cheaper and fair playing level of fun, the only difference will the charms you outfit your Barbarian with as well as the jewels/runes you socket his gear with.
As with all GM rules - no poison damage can be added besides what comes with the full Ilk set! and no shield, for Immortal King set does not use a shield anyway. This way using the Immortal King set you can always re-set your gear with a hel rune and new jewels/runes. You will learn more about BvB duels and the character of Barbarians, which also points towards the upcoming D3. These Barbarians will focus on whirl-wind style duels, not concentration.
I am still working out the finer points and rules with Ken/Coolchilly's help. Also if you are not familiar with Whirl-Wind Barbarian's skills please contact Yazz, Ken/Coolychilly or Joe/Neoblack, Jesse/FIREjdg, Jason/JATT or Jake/Ashikaga & myself. If you have any questions/suggestions about this competition - contact me at anytime. This invitation is open to ALL Dark Taverners(with special invitation extended to VoRo, Kahn & Cha), you do not have to enter, its your choice
As I said before this is still in the development stage but coming along rather well, my first 2 suggestions is to 1 rush a Barbarian then 2 acquire a full Immortal King set (Ilk Barb set) for starters.

Suggestions made:
Shane & Jake - can we level the guildly Barbs higher than lvl90? Excellent question - since this is a trial run I will be making the cap at lvl90, if this goes well? I do not see any problems with leveling your Barb past lvl90 - but please wait til the guildy BvB ladder is established

For anyone reading this now? See Shane/Grimdayz about a c/rush and Ken/Coolychilly about g/rushes.
Also in acquiring Immortal King sets - if you cannot locate 1 on jsp, you can always try ingame trades (create a game on any level normal-hell with the title of Bring full Ilk set or all for Ilk set, trade runes or gear if you can spare it).
