We came to the conclusion that if no one is harmed by someone buying items (i.e. the in-game economy isn't messed up, people aren't scammed, etc. etc.) then there aren't any real problems with spending extra money on a game.
are u stupid? read the title of the thread, "Iso whats wrong with buying items". his argument is that it makes him happy so thats why its ok and im making my point that his happiness is not whats wrong with buying items with money....
I make $21 an hour and never spent my $ on items
Considering this, I'd much rather spend $5 on items, which took me 15 minutes to earn than spend X amount of hours searching for it.
You still have yet to give an explanation on how me buying items that already exist within the game negatively effect your game play or the game itself. Comparing mods to buying items is beyond foolish. The point of mods is to take advantage of the game. If I were to work all day and have no time to play the game, and you didn't work at all and only mfed, you would have an unfair advantage would you not? Being able to buy items means we have an equal advantage. We simply obtain the items through different means.
