Even the old school JLs are tight. My homeboy had a 10W6 V1 and it was getting just slightly less db than my 12W6 V2 that I had at the time.

They really did hit pretty hard. Especially the 240sx they were in was a hatchback. I never did test the db on them though. And now I don't drive the Nissan much anymore(due to lazyness), and would prefer to just put a single 10 in the miata, and use one amp to power the sub, and one to power the door speakers. My sisters going to get those subs for free though, because she'd put them to alot better use then I would.
