no... its because of the last year of secondary school, we need a school leaving exam, so we can go to university
from history,maths,a foreign language, hungarian literature+grammar, +1 subject, that you choose ... it usually depends on the course, you would like to learn in university.
and you can choose Advanced level or Intermediate from each subject. No rule says, you have to make any advanced level, but you can gain plus points with them, so at least one is suggested, i made my advanced level from Maths, and i got 75%.
Each subject has a written, and an oral part(except maths for example, it has no oral part in Intermediate, only if you take the advanced level).
And here comes the oral part! All of the subjects in 1 day!!! im gonne die :/
