I like #2 but I think it should be more like the top 5 if there is on average 20 people at one time on the ladder. It would give everyone towards the top a fair shot and not having to skip any of the people fighting for the #1 spot.

I was thinking about this too the way its written now somebody could challenge # 3 from #5 and skip 4 so consider it from #5 you can only challenge up 1 at a time

The reson for rule 1 is .. and i have done this myself .. say you just beat somebody for # 5 or W/e you have to wait 24 hours before u can challenge up well if the guy that you beat is issues a rechallenge at 24:01 then that doesnt give you a chance to challenge up just because you werent trolling at just the right time to issue your next challenge

1) Allowed to challenge a player up to a maximum of 2 ranks above you
2) Pm the other party about the challenge then post challenge in this topic
3) GM Melee Rules Apply to all Duels
4) Challenge will be First to Six, Win by 2
5) Challenges Involving a Top 3 Spot are best 2-3 Sets
6) No Going to Stash during a Set. If its a Top 3 Challenge you may Change Gear Between Sets
