This is because you are using vista... You should ask in general help for a guide, as I know there are plenty somewhere on jsp

i had d2 on vista all the time
but i have both vista and xp on my pc so i will give it a try on xp

Oh yeah if you use Vista [like I do] u have to adjust the compatibility of it. But usually u are able to install it but not to run it on vista ...

hmmm im now sure what you mean i runned d2 all the time on vista with no problems
but i just installed classic on xp with no problems ^^

Try RegCleaner...
Delet everything from D2/Blizzard and then try again...
(Just google it... i'll find "RegCleaner" pretty fast wink.gif)

maybe by installing with xp, you'll be able to RUN it with vista tongue.gif (if the harddisk is the same ofc =))
