well it was myt first time doing the transmition :P it was a fuck. uhm it was in the shop it was a... 88 Sumthing, fuck i forget.

Yeah, dropping the trans wasn't really that hard. I had an issue with getting to the last bolt, and wasted alot of time messing with the transmission cradle and floor jack. It wouldn't work with my jack, so I had to modify it a bit. Then the fucking jack broke and I had to fit it to a different jack. Then the dude that was helping me lost some of the bolts, It was such a hassle.

an 88 what? Car, truck? Domestic, foreign?

truck. but im usualy pretty handy with fixing shit, and know a dece amount of fixing cars, not so much about them but i can fix them :P

and i ripped apart and entire vehicle, like striped it down to just body, and rebuilt it, and it ran :O i was so stoked :) only took like 2-3months to and only worked on it like 1 hour a day :)

LOL guys. imo just toss me a call and fuck a floor jack get a lift=P

but yea. that last bolt is very hard to get out unless u take the weight off it. also you're normal jack plate that everything rests on shouldnt be pressed on your tranny housing. get a few blocks of wood. cut them in a V shape and there u go. it wont dmg a thing and it will help alot to take that weight off. neways gl and guys any car probs all the way down to smog lmk. i currently work as a mechanic
