yeah, they have always been good end user workstations, the geeks didnt like them that much because you couldnt do much to them on your own.  we liked tweaking pcs...  they were also expensive proprietary and had way less software to choose from.  i love a big bad mac graphics workstation, but i was all into programming and tweaking the disk operatin system back then prolly just a generational thing. thats what kicked ass back then, now you have tons of choices.

i have an osborn portable. lol unsnap the front ocver and its a keyboard, under that is the front of the pc itself.  it has like a 5 inch monochrome screen and 2 5 1/4 inch floppy drives.  its huge and heavy, but it was possible to take it with you. lol its still works too
