Anyone think a poison javazon with dream helm would work?

You just kind of have to be firm - robe wearers in the back, middle armor in the middle and tanking (heavy) armor in the front. It's just how it is and people need to deal with it - if barbs/fighters are hiding in the back, call them out and ask to see their armor. They should never be in the back - possibly the middle of their armor isn't so hot, but usually in the front.

You're only at level 7 - you're going to be very hard pressed to find a cata worth a crap at that level. Most people don't even consider cataing until at least level 20 - it's much faster soloing for most people (even with bad gear) at that level. You should get a melee weapon (ie. staff or dagger with ee) to do damage at that level (not enough mana to do anything productive casting). Then you can solo till you're a bit higher and switch over to casting - most people in catas expect mages to be the healer (dealing little to no damage), so if you're planning on cataing most of the way, you'll want to focus on a heal charm, as much int as possible and as much heal master on your gear as possible. If you want a damage charm (mostly for soloing), you want the highest ee possible on the charm.
