yumz...those are bad-azz fo sho...that cut might just be the best overall...that area of the leg does very little work and usually is highly marbled...man, I haven't had a filet mignon in ages (same thing). I love BBQ chicken thighs & legs this time of year, but the steak prices are just sick!
I am out of my steak mood. Used to love some Rib Eye's. Best cut imo. Nothing like a nice Del over a Filet to me. But now I'm into just plain old good quality burgers. Give me some ground filet or delmonico, sure I'll like it, but I'm sick of going to these restauraunts that can't cook steaks....
Or some pit beef. Nice pit beef sandwich, cooked medium, through a tablespoon or so of horseradish, 1/4 cup of coleslaw, raw onions, barbecue sauce, and salt on a quality kaiser or some nice rye bread.
